Patient Services has earned its recognitions and endorsements with consistency, legal compliance, commitment and an excellent track record of helping patients with specific chronic illnesses.

Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG)
In 2002, Patient Services became the recipient of a positive advisory opinion by the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (02-01), specifically allowing Patient Services to assist Medicare patients with premium and copayment assistance without infringing upon enticement/inducement or anti-kickback statutes within its proposed agreement.
National Recognition Programs

We are happy to report that PSI received its ninth consecutive 4-star Charity Navigator rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency! Only one percent of the charities they rate have received at least eight consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that PSI outperforms most other charities in America. Additionally, PSI is considered a GuideStar Exchange Platinum Participant by GuideStar USA, Inc. This level demonstrates PSI's deep commitment to nonprofit transparency and accountability.


PSI has worked hard to showcase our progress toward our mission, and our long-held belief in being transparent about our work, to our constituents. As a GuideStar Exchange participant and top rated Charity Navigator member, we use each platform to share a wealth of up-to-date information about our work to our supporters, grant makers, individual donors, and the media.
