Types of Patient Assistance
Accessia Health provides peace of mind to patients with rare and chronic illnesses through multiple financial assistance services. Our patient assistance programs help patients by
Subsidizing the cost of health insurance premiums
Providing pharmacy and treatment copayment assistance
Providing travel assistance
Medical expenses include a wide range of healthcare services to support treatment for the program diagnosis. This may include out-of-pockets costs for medical visits, hospitalizations, laboratory testing, durable medical equipment, etc.
Copayment assistance is provided for FDA approved and indicated treatment for the program diagnosis. Patient must have health insurance and PSI will assist with the patient’s copayment or coinsurance.
Health Insurance Premium
PSI assists with patient travel expenses related to receiving medical care for the program diagnosis. This may include fuel, ambulance services, lodging, and public transportation.
