Types of Assistance Draft

  • Ancillary assistance includes a wide range of healthcare services to support treatment for the program diagnosis. This may include out of pockets costs for medical visits, hospitalizations, laboratory testing, durable medical equipment, etc.
  • Copayment assistance is provided for FDA approved and indicated treatment for the program diagnosis. Patient must have health insurance and PSI will assist with the patient’s copayment or coinsurance.
  • Infusion and Nursing Services assists with costs associated with the infusion of FDA approved and indicated treatment and nursing services for the program diagnosis.
  • Health Insurance Premium: PSI assists with the cost of patient’s health insurance policy.
  • Travel Assistance: PSI assists with patient travel expenses related to receiving medical care for the program diagnosis. This may include fuel, ambulance services, lodging, and public transportation.
