Who can apply?
Assistance is only for those that are undiagnosed or no longer have breast cancer and have been prescribed an MRI based upon a family or personal history of breast cancer, those who have tested positive for a BRCA gene mutation, are genetically susceptibility to malignant neoplasm of breast, or those who were treated with therapeutic radiation for cancer prior to age 30. You are eligible to apply for assistance regardless of insurance status. Income is limited to 400 percent of Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Approved assistance has a limit of up to $1,500 per MRI occurrence during a 6 month time period.*

If you have a current diagnosis of breast cancer or your MRI is not to screen for breast cancer, your test cannot be covered through PSI assistance in this program.
